วันที่ 8 - 9 เมษายน 2568 สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีความปลอดภัยและอาชีวอนามัย คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีอุตสาหกรรม นำนักศึกษา เข้าร่วมโครงการวิจัยภายใต้ชุดโครงการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและการพัฒนาเศษวัสดุเหลือทิ้งจากกระบวนการทำมะพร้าวขาว เพื่อลดปัญหาจัดเก็บ ปัญหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ความปลอดภัยอัคคีภัย แหล่งเพาะพันธุ์พาหะนำโรค และยังเพิ่มมูลค่าเกิดประโยชน์โดยตรงกับชุมชน โดยประกอบด้วย 3 กิจกรรม คือ การย่อยเปลือกมะพร้าวสกัดเส้นใย สำหรับสร้างผลิตภัณฑ์ การผลิตถ่านไบโอชาร์จากเศษกะลามะพร้าว และถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีกับผู้ประกอบการและผู้สนใจจำนวน 40 คน ณ ศูนย์การเรียนรู้เศรษฐกิจพอเพียงบ้านสารภี ตำบลจอมปลวก อำเภอบางคนที จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม

On April 8–9, 2025, the Department of Safety Technology and Occupational Health, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, led students to participate in a research project under the program aimed at enhancing the efficiency and development of coconut waste materials. The objective is to reduce problems related to storage, environmental issues, fire hazards, and disease vector breeding grounds, while also adding value that directly benefits the community. The project consisted of three main activities: (1) processing coconut husks to extract fibers for product creation, (2) producing biochar from coconut shells, and (3) transferring technology to 40 entrepreneurs and interested individuals at the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, Ban Saraphi, Chompluak Sub-district, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province.
